My passion is birdwatching, whether it be taking other birders to my favorite haunts or out on my own, taking photographs of the wonderful avifauna of Western Australia! Please have a look at my Photo Gallery to get an idea of some of the local species. Interesting recent sightings can be found under Birding Reports.
A keen birder from childhood, I moved to Western Australia in 1998 and since then I've been actively involved in the National Bird Atlas Project as a Regional Organiser in the South West . Previously I spent time in Adelaide where I was a member of the South Australian Ornithological Association and the Australasian Wader Studies Group.
