Birdwatching Break - Half Day Tour (from Manjimup/Pemberton/Bridgetown)

This morning tour is designed to see a range of local endemic species including (but not guaranteed or limited to!) Long-billed (Baudin's) Black Cockatoo, Red-capped Parrot, Western Rosella, Red-winged Fairywren, Red-eared Firetail and White-breasted Robin.

Cost is $170 for one person, then $50 each for additional guests up to a maximum of four and includes morning tea.

Birdwatching Bonanza - Full Day Tour (from Manjimup/Pemberton/Bridgetown)

This is an extension of the morning tour but travels further afield to search for additional species such as Western Corella, Western Thornbill and Western Spinebill.

Cost is $380 for one person, then $70 each for additional guests up to a maximum of four and includes morning tea.

For both the half day and full day tours, guests are collected from their lodgings between 7:00 and 7:30am and travel by airconditioned 4WD vehicle to various local nature reserves. Cost includes use of binoculars, telescope and field guides.

Perth and surrounds Full Day Tour

This full day tour is designed to see a range of habitats in the Perth area, including urban wetlands, jarrah forest and woodlands, the coast and the Swan River. We expect to see 80-110 species, including 8-10 endemics, depending on the season and the weather.

South West Endemics 3 or 4 Day Blitz
|
This extended tour aims to find all 13 of the South West endemics, but particularly focuses on the 3 notorious "skulkers" (Noisy Scrub-bird, Western Bristlebird and Western Whipbird). For the 4 day Blitz, an extra day is spent in the "mallee" country looking for such species as Malleefowl, Shy Heathwren, Southern Scrub-Robin and Purple-gaped Honeyeater.

This tour may start from Manjimup, Pemberton or Bridgetown. Pick up from other towns may be available on request.

Guiding fee per day for one person is $380, then $70 each for additional guests up to a maximum of 4.

Best from March to October when there's the ideal chance of seeing both Humpback and Southern Right Whales.
|
|
Chalet-style accommodation at Cheynes Beach Caravan Park and all meals (including for the guide) are extra. Depending on the number and configuration of guests and the time of year, the estimated room rate will vary between $50 and $230 per night for 2 or 3 nights.
